I have a website currently created with wordpress that is partly complete but am needing help
with the rest. I’d like a website developed that is basically a more customizable forum.
- I currently am using the wpForo for a forum on this website. I like the layout of this forum that I have, but would be willing to use a different forum plugin if the developer recommended.
What I need help with is making basically a split forum. Right now the forum is setup so that anyone can just view the forum. I need to setup a login and register for the site. I want to add a field on the register page that is a dropdown. If the user selects a name on the drop down for an organization… then
he will be automatically linked with that company. When he logs in he will be capable of seeing
the “general,” forum that everyone can see.. and also the “organization,” forum that is exclusive
to the particular organization. So basically he will have access to 2 different forums. I as the
administrator want to be responsible for what categories and sub categories there are and all
the users will be able to post and ask questions.
There is another part to this site that I’d like, but I want this part created and working properly
before I move on to the bigger part of my site.
