     Hi Dede S. No sorry this is not going in the right direction. Darling (the partner) and the children are as i suggested but Clyde is now more Basil the great mouse detective than Bernard in the Rescuers and the house is to bland. Think more thatched roof, white picket fence and cottage garden.

     Hi John, I apologize for not offering any feedback and your character is very good. I have never been involved in a project like this before and with the amount of excellent entries i am finding it very difficult to decide. I'm happy for you to send another entry if you would like to. The reasons i decided not to proceed with your character was, so many of the other offerings presented all the family and the background I asked for and while I do like your character he is a little old fashioned for what i was looking for. I should say not too old fashioned it is kind of what i want. I am finding it difficult to articulate how to direct you along the right path, but I hope this helps and again sorry if I appeared to disrespect you at all it was not my intention

     I have two people saying they have submitted #36 , do you operate under two names. Any way not knowing who is who here is the same feedback. , I'm not sure exactly what to say. You are definitely on the right track, and the changes are only subtle, so I'm sure we could work them out. But Clyde is the main character and I'm looking for a style like the movie from years ago "The Rescuers". In fact Clyde looks quite like the lead mouse in that show (In my head) Darling needs to be a little more petite and the children could be thinner. But all in all they are certainly along the right path. #3 at the moment

I feel like I'm suggesting something negative about your efforts but i'm not at all.      Hi David you are definitely on the right track. Clyde perhaps in a tweed coat, rather than the patched jumper and just a little stockier. middle class not at all ragged but not over dressed either and his expression needs to be a little wiser and warmer. But right in line with what I'm after. Any chance you could have a go at Darling (his partner).
