I have a basic word art diagram I would like to be developed into a professional diagram for my PhD. The red band in the middle of the arrow needs to be squeezing the arrow to show a constriction.

The left end of the arrow is covering an arrow and does not need to be there and it can be a normal line. The red band could be more like a rope tieing around the arrow, with the line skinnier on the arrow end of the band to show constraint/restriction.

Colours are not specific and can be changed.

The diagram will be used in a thesis and possibly used when submitted to a journal for publication and therefore will only ever be as big as an A4 at the biggest.

  The arrow facing 'Evolving professionalisation and expectations of paramedics' needs to stay there and is facing the right way.
  
  But the rhombus which is near fearing and mitigating the repercussions of a potential patient complaint doesn't need to be there - maybe a fatter end of the arrow before it is squeezed through the band
