I am looking for a logo design for a bar and grill. This particular place has been named many things over time. The new owner wants to bring it back to its original name so that will be "Back to Captain's".

The owner is a woman and she has entertained the idea of an image of a female pirate captain.

This is not just a bar and grill she also does catering and events.

The location is in Isanti, Minnesota (which she would like incorporated into the design).

The bar is located on a lake - so there is access to water - however we are not interested in pirate ships or anything todo with the ocean BUT bringing something nautical to the theme would be interesting.

The owner has another location for another bar. It is called Back to the SRO. The logo was designed by someone off of freelancer several years ago. This logo has worked really well for that bar. The owner really likes the "round" design and would like to develop a logo that has some similarities to the other location - but of course different. I am attaching something the owner did on an app of something she liked - it is not the logo but incorporates elements of what she is looking for. I am looking for someone to put some thought into this design given all the aspects provided. I am not looking for a plug and play logo that you just slap the name on.

The pirate in this mock up is MUCH too detailed. It needs to be something that will print well on apparel (black on white and white on black). The idea of a female pirate is intriguing but NOT a requirement - other options that could personify the brand are all open for consideration: captains hat, nautical compass, steering wheel from a ship etc..

The preferred colors are black and white. Owner would entertain a nice blue as an accent.

PLEASE make sure you view the mock up attached. There needs to be supporting words on the logo Bar Grill Catering Events

The name of the city state must also be included: Isanti, Minnesota. Please make sure your entries include that!

I really encourage you to review the project details as well as the mock up attached AND there is a web site link where you can see the logo of this bar owners other bar - she likes that logo - so if you could tap into that in some way but make Back to Captain's unique that would be desired.
