Hello FreelancerComp and judges! This message should be in the description but the description is limited only to 1000 characters and we have so much more to say about our entry. Firstly, there is so much more to showcase from our 85 gigabytes of video coverage but it's impossible to fit it in a 2-minute video. Instead we provided youtube links to prove that we extensively promote your logo to a countless crowd. We did not take videos of ourselves holding the streamer up for we all know that it is temporary (you can not hold it there for hours) but instead we permanently hanged it there for days to a strategic location to maximize the exposure.
As of writing, the 4 streamers on the streets of Kabankalan are still there because it is up to the City Government when will they take it down and we are happy about it.- pred 8 let

Lastly, The Freelancer Tree Planting. During our brain-storming on how to promote Freelancer logo BIG time, we want to promote it to a different level. A promotion that will have a lasting effect in our community, a promotion that will be remembered and become the 'talk of the town', a promotion that can change one's priorities and a promotion that will be recorded in the history of our city. During rainy season we experienced frequent flooding in our low land areas in our community. One of the biggest contributor to these flooding are the absence of trees in our mountains. These issue became the main problem of our city government and the community as well. The only way to solve this is to plant trees. So we grab the opportunity by asking the city government if we can have a tree planting activity. They are happy to know that a group from Freelancer Company are willing to plant trees so they provided for us a truck and seedlings for our tree planting. They also put the Freelancer name in their history book (The Forest Land Use Plan) for taking part in the reforestation. We paraded the logo for almost 70km, 35km to and fro. We did not know how many have seen the logo but we became the talk of the town. Townsmen talked about a certain group of people (known to them as Freelancer) who helped prevent disaster by planting trees on their mountains.

Next promotion we had was the Professional Regulation Commission event, the PRC-on-the-road. A 3-day event at the Kabankalan City Cultural Center. Professionals from all over Southern Negros Island came and have their license processed, renewals and new applications. We had the Freelancer logo posted inside the gym, at the center and at every post of the hall and it stayed there for whole 3-day event. Renewals and new application will took you 4-5 hours inside the gym and it is very definite that they noticed the Freelancer logo because it is in every corner and sides. Everywhere they look they see the logo. :)
It is called the PRC-on-the-road because Negros Island has no PRC office only in Panay Island. It is hard and costly for professionals to go to Panay Island. So personnel from PRC Panay Island Office went to Negros Island to cater these professionals from our region.- pred 8 let

Next is the Mr. and Miss Freelancer. Every year, Southland College is in search for Mr. and Miss Southland and the winner will become the role model for students. An idea came up from my teammate to give away an award. So we went to the college administrator and ask him if is it possible for us to sponsor one award - the Mr. and Miss Freelancer and he gave us a go. We gave out 1000 pesos and a Freelancer T-shirt to both winners. After giving the award people are asking what and who is Freelancer.

Next is the Freelancer Band. We scouted for talented young people and formed them as Freelancer Band. They performed 3 songs in a school event at Southland College. They wore Freelancer T-shirt and they introduce Freelancer during their performance. These young people were happy what they achieved and we encouraged them to continue and develop their talents. They are thankful because without these event they did not discover their talents and what they are capable of.

Secondly, the 5-day university week celebration is indeed a big boost to our promotion. The Freelancer logo was the ONLY streamer posted in front of the gym. Thousands of students and visitors noticed it because it stayed there for 5 long days. The same is true for the streamer in their university billboard. I had posted the schedule of activities of that celebration in our facebook page found in the description.

The campuses of Central Philippines State University that are present for they are required to attend in the celebration are : Main Campus and Campuses from Municipality of Hinigaran, Victorias City, Mun. of Moises Padilla, San Carlos City, Sipalay City, Mun. of Hinoba-an, Mun. of Cauayan, Mun. of Ilog and Mun. of Candoni. Thirdly, the Cable company promotion. K-CAT company is the first and only Cable Company in Southern Negros. Their website is at http://www.mykcat.com. The Freelancer logo was aired in Channel 11 for 7 days every 6pm-9pm daily. They had an enormous subscribers in the region from households to hotels, resorts and restaurants.
